The object of this shot is to pot all three balls in one go.  The pink ball should be placed on its spot, the red ball is placed next to and touching the pink in line with the jaw of the pocket near the side cushion.  This positioning allows for an element of squeeze as the cue ball strikes the pink. The cue ball should be placed approximately two inches from the yellow spot and with a half ball aim on the pink play a medium yet very smooth paced shot.
